Re: Getting permanent eyebrows done.

HH, good for you and good luck! My BFF got them because she wanted a different, fuller look. They are gorgeous! She gets them retouched every 4 years.

She has a web site called designing features.com All your questions would be answered there, and she has pictures too.

I have had chemo twice - breast and kidney cancers so I'm sure that has a lot to do with what has happened to mine.

Sounds interesting; I tried to locate this website but couldn't find it. Did she change the name recently? TIA.

Re: Getting permanent eyebrows done.

I had mine done about 4 yrs ago and I am so glad. I have perfect brows! Even after fading quite a bit, I still have a good guideline to follow to fill in now. I think it's important to do research locally and try to find someone with a good reputation and whom you can trust. The woman who did mine is now offering a Groupon for half price at $200 and I'm thinking about going back. Had I not already had a good experience with her I would probably not use a Groupon for someone unknown to me. I was so nervous, I brought two friends with me to my first appointment to make sure I didn't walk out of there looking like Groucho Marx!

It is so wonderful to have perfect brows and not have to stress and examine them every day to reapply. You will not be sorry. I don't have money to burn on this kind of stuff, but it was well worth it, in my opinion!

I have seen her work many times and she does a beautiful job.As i said she is an artist and it shows in her work. I don't have any money to throw away either but this is becoming a necessity for me. What I have now does look very bad. I am fortunate to have this connection to someone I know will do a beautiful job. As I said previously, if she gives me a good enough price I will have eyeliner done as well.

HH, make sure you ask her about scabbing and recovery.

Re: Getting permanent eyebrows done.

Ok, I see that the OP has returned and posted after my post. Could you please supply the correct website? I was hoping to check out the pictures and the FAQ's.

Has anyone else been able to locate the website? TIA.

Re: Getting permanent eyebrows done.

Wow, that is quite a pricey procedure. Being permanent for 4-5 years is a long time, and if I don't like them I am stuck with them. Guess I will just stick with the eye brow products, but it's a pain to do. I feel I am better safe than sorry. Thanks for all the info though.

HisElk - designing features didn't work for me either. I googled ""designing features eyebrows"" and a place called Defining Features came up - maybe that's it.

Do you have to tweeze or wax whatever sparse hairs exist, or do they work around them ?
