Gallon pump usage recommendations

Aren't the gallons supposed to pump out 1oz of product per pump? I just used my gallons for the first time and ended up using 2 pumps for each of both cleanses. Which is what, basically 4 oz of CC?

I've lost count on how many pumps I use in the other bottles because I have a mix of 16oz, 32oz and then those almost empty upside down bottles I just have to squeeze CC out of.

I noticed on chazdean. com that for the gallons, he recommends 1-2 pumps for short hair, 2-4 for medium hair and 4-6 for long hair. My hair is long ( just above my waist since I cut some off) and my hair was well saturated with CC with 4 pumps. I'm just sort of surprised because I remember when I went out of town last year that I cleased with just one travel pack and that is 2oz.

I think the gallon pump makes it easier for me to use enough CC than the smaller bottles. I think I was shorting myself some because I was subconsiously trying to make it last longer in the smaller bottles.
