My favorite is Nars because it goes on smoothly and does the job. Laura Mercier makes one for mineral foundations that is good. I also use Tom Ford. Nars is about $30 and Tom Ford is $75.

Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel. I've used it for years. I've tried samples from EL and Lancome but imo they weren't as good. For $6 you might as well try it Smiley Happy It was discovered on this forum years! ago.

I have yet to find a HG primer. In fact, I generally feel that they do nothing for my skin or MU and the lasting power of my products. The only ones I've liked have been the Smashbox blue one (sorry, forget the name). And the YBF one from the other channel has actually been fairly decent for me, too. I am currently using up big jar of the Mally primer, which really, I think does nothing for me. Yes, it feels good going on, but I don't sense that my MU lasts longer while using it. Just using it up b/c I realized I had one from a kit or a special from a while back.

Thanks for all the replies! There's so many good primers, I think I'll go to Sephora and see if I can score some samples.

monicakm and PinkSugar,

Thanks for flashback to the time when so many here were trying the Monostat gel for primer. I'd totally forgotten about it. Think I may still have some in my stash. Maybe I will try it again.
