I don't think foundation makes you look old unless you use too heavy a hand applying it. I have always used MU very lightly. I believe less is definitely more with MU.

What is MU?

Re: Foundation-Do you do this?

I have heard this all my makeup-using life (about 48 years now, lol!). Never made any sense to me. But, in a way, I DO put foundation only where needed...I just need it everywhere! Smile

On 2/16/2015 TY said: I use a CC cream or a foundation all over and make sure to blend well. As the Cc cream has SPF what would I use otherwise? Then I would have to use a separate sunscreen and then a foundation. I also have freckles and age spots and dark circles so it's easier to use a CC cream or foundation all over my face.

And therein lies the problem. You should NEVER rely on the spf in your foundation or cc cream because in theory "you do not apply foundation all over, only where needed."

Sooooo, in theory, you are applying the separate sunscreen all over to ensure the protection.
I cannot imagine how unnatural one's face would look with foundation or cc cream all over the face to impart full spf coverage? Or can I......
