Re: For those who have used the Lightstim for a long time...questions for you...

Been using it for years now and wouldn't be without it. At first I did the 3 minutes in each area but after a year or so went up to 5 minutes. I have used it more than once a day o. Some days when I'm not doing anything but watching TV and needed to make up for lost time. Most weeks I do it at least 5 times a week but there are times when I take a week off for various reasons but get right back to it. Within a month I would say, I necessarily didn't see the difference but others had. When I don't do it now I see a difference and hate it. I wouldn't be without it, it's a key player in my arsenal. Enjoy!

I read a review by a journalist comparing light stim with another product that was more expensive , but was held directly on the skin and had a timer. She said that she used one on each side of her face, but had to stop because the other one worked so much better that she looked a little bit strokey on the light stim side. I think it was called a targa.

What serums are good to use besides the Alghenist Brand that comes with the unit. I recall a certain ingredient was important? For those of you that have used it any advice?

Thank you.

Hi Gorg, When I spoke to LightStim Customer Service, they said any serum or lotion with Matrixyl.

Re: For those who have used the Lightstim for a long time...questions for you...

I have had the lightstim for a year and I use it everyday for 3minutes per area and I do the 11 area twice each day and it has decreased them drastically. For me when I didn't use serum I tended to breakout with acne, so I apply serum every time that I use it. I even use argon oil sometimes when my skin feels more dry. I noticed results within a week time, I also use it on my neck lines have decreased, It is very relaxing to use.

Bumping this for the Matrixyl serum question. Any suggestions?

And...I also use the Lightstim App as a timer. Love it.

I've used the Lightstim for years. When I kicked it up with Matrixyl, I started to see a difference. I purchased Multi-Active Matrixyl Serum 25% from NCN....that stuff is great. I've used it around my mouth and eyes. I think I read about it first here on this forum.
