Add a few drops of plant oil mixed in your hand with your regular moisturizer--argan, grapeseed, safflower, whatever you like, I have never found any difference in plant oils.

It will address your dry skin nicely, and once it stops being dry you will have your original moisturizer.

Gimama, our T.J. Maxx occasionally has small bottles of pure hylauronic acid (Derma-something in a clear dark blue bottle). I agree with you, it's great. Again, I mix it with other moisturizers, I grab a bottle (about $9) whenever I see it. A little slimy to use on it's own, but it's wonderful when mixed with something.

When I went to the less is more routine CeraVe Hydrating cleanser and CeraVe SA lotion.My skin went from Very dry to almost none.

for cleanser i use ponds cold cream for dry skin.

I'd use an exfoliating product first to slough that dry dull skin.. then go for a lot of moisture- there's lots of good recs right here. When my skin is really parched I keep some sample sizes of La Mer to do the trick. It takes so very little.
