I bought a supposedly authentic Beauty Blender on eBay (all the packaging, etc appeared to be the real deal) but when I wet it to use it this morning, a white foam (like soap suds) came out.  I kept squeezing it under running water but the foam kept coming.  Is this normal for a new Beauty Blender?  I've never used this type of sponge before. I'm suspecting they sent me a used one, even though it looked perfectly new!

I have had that happen with the actual B.B. and the Real Techniques and the Ecotools green sponge as well. I’m not sure why, but I always wash mine prior to the initial use.
