I recently read on a beauty blog (I've forgotten which one) how you can use a flat iron to make waves in your hair. There was a particular method of putting your hair in the flat iron and then twisting your wrist to move the flat iron in different directions to make the waves.
I don't want to buy a waving iron just to see if I like waves in my hair. When I read about the flat iron method I was intrigued. I thought I had bookmarked the page, apparently not. Have any of you seen this or tried it? I would be interested to know,

There are dozens of videos showing how to do this on YouTube. Just search with Google or go directly to YouTube and search there,

I think I saw that, too, but didn't take note of where I read it because it looked above my skill level. I'm going to purchase a tool I saw online today. It's a Remington oval styling wand and it's made for creating waves. It doesn't have a clamp like a regular curling iron, which I never could master because I would always end up with dents. It comes with a glove to help prevent getting burned. It's less than $25 at Target. I'll post a review after I've tried it.

Youtube. It doesn't take a special flat iron, but hair long enough to work. Check out the videos and see what you thinkl.
