Enjoy your new purchases.  I am a big fan of Nest. My favorite is Dahlia & Vines which they stopped making.  Nest is owned by Harry Slatkins wife Laura.

I'm a minimal makeup and fragrance person also..........mainly as I'm so allergic to most of it. So frustrating.

@bmorechick - Congratulations on your first Sephora purchase! I'm glad you found something you really like.

I've never tried Nest anything, but after reading your experience, I might check them out. I know they are in demand.

I used to go to Sephora more than Ulta.

I had a bad experience when I witnessed an Ulta manager berating one of the younger SA's in front of everyone. The young employee started to cry and went behind to the shampoo area. I tried to see if I could comfort her, but she asked me to please stay away as the manager would get really mad at her. I went to the desk, back then in the middle of the store, and asked the manager's name. She was standing right there with her back to me and completely ignored me. So I called the company. I wasn't the only one who complained about her, but they did nothing. So I boycotted them for years.

I have never had anything but great service and help at Sephora. But they closed near us, and I went back to Ulta. That manager of course is long gone. I can get to a Sephora within an hour, and there's always online, but Ulta is about 15 minutes from me.

not to hijack the thread but speaking of perfumes, I did buy some Bronze Goddess. It smells so tropical and luxurious. I feel like Cleopatra when I wear it  😆

Where did you buy your Bronze Goddess @smoochy ?  I almosed purchased one from Ebay the other day.  I remember when it first came out years ago.  Such a great summer scent!

@beach-mom  - Good for you for getting that Manager's name and trying to comfort the SA.  I would have also!  The ULTA that I go to, for the most part, I have received such good advice and service compared to the Sephora near me.  Went into the Sephora near me today and I was ignored and when I did ask a question, I was brushed off and the woman turned to a much younger customer.  After that, I was bye-bye!  I will still buy online from Sephora as there are certain things in their line that I use, but won't go in the store.  Although at that store, managers & SAs seem to come and go so quickly that the same people probably won't be there.  Then I drove to ULTA and received great service and SA help.

I discovered Sephora on a trip to Miami Beach over 25 years. There is currently one around the corner from me and I have never been in there its been open at least 2 years. My tastes have changed over the years
