@justashopper   I have never tried the gel coat, but guess it cannot hurt... it's funny because a couple of nails grow really nicely...but most look bad and just stubby looking.  I do use TIPS which helps the cuticle.

@Mom2Dogs

My mom has the same problem.  I have one nail that seems to break more than the others.  The middle one on my right hand.  Probably from too much use.  LOL

I used TIPS for a time, too.  But stopped a long time ago.

Bleach, on your finger nails? Some one has a real vanity problem, to do that.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

@sann what are the amounts that you use to whiten your teeth? Very much appreciated.

I have terrible nails since I bite them.  I was looking at Facile fake nails.  Lots of colors and lengths that can be customized as well as a glue for long wear and "tabs" if you onlly want to wear them for a few days.

Was thinking this would be something to do with the BF's 14 year old granddaughter when she comes to visit as I'm clueless.

Re: Finger Nails

[ Edited ]

Since you don't wear polish that isn't the reason for yellowing color which I had going on from using polish weekly.  I did stop my nail products as one of them was causing my nails to flake and peel on the nail beds which I never had before.  The newest addition was that top coat others here (sold on Q) are recommending.  Perfect Gel coat I think....even though it has keratin for some reason it doesn't work for my nails at all.  Just watch and see how you react to it is all I am saying as it doesn't do this to everyone.

I use a different top coat product now called NailTopia it has all good things in it and none of the bad that I react too.  Sold at Ulta.  I have people asking me if I have a french manicure using this product just using two coats of the top coat!  And best of all no peeling flaking nails from it.  That all grew out and this product is helping me keep my nails looking bright and clean.
