Too funny -- I just this very minute was reading about that.

Not sure about the quality of the ingredient deck. This is what's currently on the CVS site (btw, caution to those googling for this -- haha):

Purified Water; Glycerin; Propylene Glycol; Polyquaternium 15; Methylparaben; Propylparaben

Re: Finally found the best curly hair product ever made!!!!

I use the regular curl keeper which is very thin consistency and re-activates with water to give you great curls on second and even third day which I could never do before. My hair is drier because of how curly it is and I have color treated hair. I have never used the clips because I have so much body in my hair I don't need anymore. My hair is ALWAYS Frizzy no matter what I use until now, I LOVE THIS STUFF could never live without it now that I have found it. Curl mart has it in the largest size and you can sign up for a coupon.

Not a fan of propylene glycol in beauty products!

How is this product on fine, naturally curly hair? I currently use Tigi Curls Rock Curlesque Amplifyer and Matrix Biolage Styling Gelee. My hair doesn't do well with any products that have silicones in them or are heavy and I always look for products that accentuate curl and help hold & define the curl. TIA

QVC lost a lot of my posts too!

I love the Tigi curls rock! but it is loaded with silicone. I personally don't care: doesn't hurt my hair. who makes Curl Keeper? I've never heard of it

Re: Finally found the best curly hair product ever made!!!!

Thanks for that info. My curly hair is at times way out of control and hideous. I'll be looking for that. The only thing that's worked for me is to let conditioner sit for a few minutes and hope for the best. My hairdresser puts a glue-like substance in it, so she's no help at all. I do use a bit of oil on it (jojoba oil at Trader Joe's) when it's wet to try to cut the frizz, but that's not perfect.

Re: Finally found the best curly hair product ever made!!!!

It is curl keeper made by Curly Hair Solutions for the other poster who asked. I heard about this on you tube and then read many reviews online. For some reason it does not seem like they market very well but I would call it the best curly hair product I have ever purchased, I have purchased many. To control Frizz I was always crunchy curled or using hairspray, oils etc. This is all I have been using and No FRIZZ at all.

What is the fragrance like? Recently I have returned a number of products because of strong scents.

Before I stopped using silicones on my hair (love them on my skin), I used that TIGI product. But as andreatoo pointed out, it does contain at least one silicone. It also has some other ingredients that might create build-up on the hair.

I liked the product, but since I now use only sulfate-free shampoos, I stick with conditioners and styling products that are free of silicones and have no or at least a minimum of anything that can build up on my hair, such as several types of polyquarterniums.
