I started going to a new hair salon in my area, and the owner suggested I get my eyebrows shaped. She'd suggested a little shaping and cleaning up. It had never occurred to me before, but after she mentioned it, I started thinking about it.
Well, all of my life I've been careful to avoid overtweezing, but I decided that a little professional assistance might be a good idea. So yesterday I said we could do my brows. Now they're too thin, and I want to cry. I am trying to convince myself that I'm just not used to this look, but I don't really believe it. I now realize that she and I should have discussed exactly what she would do, but I didn't know that since it was my first time.
Over the past couple of years, I've started using a pencil in a couple of places where I thought my brows were thinning. Now I feel like I have to use the pencil a lot just to give my brows definition. Plus I feel like one brow is not slightly thinner than the other.
Since my brows were already thinning a little bit, do you think there's any chance they'll grow back? Or will I just have to use the pencil every day now? Any suggestions on what might help them grow? TIA.
I'm kind of mad at myself for letting this happen, especially since I'd been so careful all of these years to avoid overdoing it.
