Got a trim with my hairdresser this weekend and she said she was thinking about ordering Feather Extensions. She said Steven Tyler has made them popular (I don't watch American Idol- anyone noticed these on him?). I checked out info and pictures at www. finefeatherheads. com and the look kinda cute... I have long, light brown hair and I was thinking about just getting one strand. I do work in a professional/administrative environment, so I thought it might be too much- but people wear chunky statement jewelry and such, what's the difference?? Any thoughts on these or anyone with experience with them? (I'm also concerned about animal cruelty here- I believe the feathers may come from roosters that are being utilized for other purposes- I'm pretty sure the animals aren't injured or killed just for the sake of the feather extensions.)
