I have tried a lot of them over the years and all were too oily, greasy, slick for my oily skin.  Even when I got old.  Very old.

@SurferWife

Kristopher Buckle had great stick foundation when he was on the Q. I loved his tsv's and bought every one on AD. Tarte also had/has some good foundations in this form too. One in particular is a fav of my bff and sometimes offered only on their site now. She watches for the sales. (Don't we all...)

Another vote for Bobbi Brown's too.

Laura Geller had a great stick foundation eons ago. You may remember that yellow taxi makeup case that came with a foundation, bronzer and a couple other items that are slipping my memory for the moment.  A definite flash from the past and one of my original orders from LG. Going waaay back was the Pan Stick from Max Factor that had a tremendous following and was sadly dc'd.

I searched for "best stick blush for dry skin" and Westman Atelier came in the #1 spot.  Naturally, I picked an out-of-stock color.

Hourglass stick foundation, Flower Beauty Blush Crush, Laura Geller Eyeshadow sticks. Love these!

@SurferWife  I watched that video by Emily Noel also.  Used to use a stick foundation from BareMinerals and loved it and then it was discontinued and never tried to find another stick foundation.  Have stick bronzers by Em Cosmetics. Persona, and Rare Beauty that I use.  No stick blushes or eyeshadows though.

After quite a long hiatus on any makeup purchase, this caught my eyeballs in Target yesterday.  Yep Wet n Wild looked good for $3.99.  I want to try it.  This is the color I grabbed called Dusty Pink.  It says mega Glo but I didn't see any sparkles and if it has a glow, I won't wear it.  Pass along to daughter.

I have never found a stick foundation that I liked.  They all feel thick, heavy, and greasy to me.  It seems cream/stick blushes have gotten popular lately.  I was reluctant due to my experience with the cream/stick foundation but was curious to try.  I've been using the Wet-n-Wild for a little while and like it.  I don't draw it directly on my face.  I take a brush and swipe across the product, then bounce/stipple it on.  I will use a light application of a powdered blush to make it stay.  It works well for me,

WOW!  Thanks for all those suggestions.  I've heard the Wet n Wild one is good.

The wet n wild one has come in handy when I was rushed, had to be somewhere and didn't have time for the usual GOO!

These sticks have no titanium dioxide (my allergy) and they are very light in texture.

i cannot use them in place of a concealer (The W & W) but they do a nice job of evening out skin tone. They are not drying either.

OOOH, makeup in a stick is so fast and convenient.

I have the Bobbi Brown sticks...one in Alabaster that I can use as concealer or my all over winter shade and Porcelain that matches my face exactlly. I'm thinking the formula may have changed a bit since it seems to be fuller coverage/drier now.

I've been using Westman Atilier stick foundation, their blush in Petal and the highlight stick in Lit. I'm not big on highlight, but Gucci Westman gives the hint of using Lit under the eyes or as a primer before the makeup.

I also have stick shadows form BB and Laura Mercier and Nars Orgasm stick blush.

I just bought two elf luminous putty blushes and I like them a lot. They are long lasting and add a very soft luminous pop of color.
