Re: Favorite Powder Foundation.....Help!!!

I have gone back and forth between cream and mineral powders over the years, but I always seem to return to Jane Iredale. They have a great color range and it settles into a very natural finish. I was happy to buy the new Eve Lom loose mineral foundation--don't know if it's the color or what--but it just seems off.

Re: Favorite Powder Foundation.....Help!!!

Hi! Maybe I can help. I've tested most of the foundations listed here and more. I also need coverage and hate that powdery/cakey look. The best by far is Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder foundation. It's $36 and lasts quite a while too. I'm never without it now.

Re: Favorite Powder Foundation.....Help!!!

I'm always on the hunt for a good powder foundation. Right now 'it' is good for me but not the 'illumination' version - too shiny. The Too Faced Cocoa foundation smells fabulous but I was greasy in just a couple of hours - no go (love the brush though, gave the powder to my Mom who has dry skin). I remember the Powder Powder from Toni Brattin in the past but don't remember the coverage, I may have to try it again.I do occasionally wear Pur and it works pretty well. I like that it has an SPF to it, as well.

I've been looking at the Lucy Minerals but the pics of her shades are way off. I'm most likely going to order a few samples to see if anything will work for me.

Thanks for the great ideas!!
