Nordstrom, beauty dot com, dermstore are probably my top ones. I also do some at Sephora, but most of what I buy there are exclusive kits, or items that are HTF at other places. I also like that I can check out shades in store prior to buying, and return in store if something doesn't work. If there were a Nordstrom near me, I'd probably shop there much more. LOVE Nordstrom. beauty dot com and dermstore often have sales, which is one of the biggest determining factors for my shopping choices.

Ah, yes, Nordstrom and Sephora. Since the OP asked for online suggestions, I didn't think to add these to my post because I live so close to both stores, as well as ULTA.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Sounds like I should check out Nordstrom's, Dermstore.com and take a look at Sephora. I live in a small city. There is a J.C Penney store that has a miniature Sephora kind of "nook" in is mostly fragrance. Guess I'll have a look there too.

Yeah, be sure to look around the JCP Sephora. I have a decent sized Sephora near me, but sometimes the JCP ones get exclusive-to-them kits, or have items there that my regular Sephora doesn't. I don't get it, but I just roll with it! ![]()

Ebay and Amazon, as my budget (& my preference) is "drugstore".
But I have also bought "higher end" stuff on Ebay, when it's under $15.

I wear mineral make-up from small on line indy companies almost exclusively. For many years I always answered this question with "Meow Cosmetics" and "Cory Cosmetics". I still do like both these fine companies.
More recently, however, I've ordered instead from Silk Naturals and have been super impressed. I'm set with foundation from Cory and Meow and not interested at this time in mixing my own with Silk Naturals, but I can't rave enough about all the neutrals/nudes/naturals in her eyeshadow shade formulations. Excellent quality and super low pricing. Also great primer and finishing powders. Skincare too. I'm loving her Vit. C serum and Apricot Oil Facial Cleanser also. Again, so inexpensive compared to the prices I usually see for products posted on this beauty forum.

I agree about Nordstrom and Deborah. Another site I like is lovelyskin dot com.
