I received a 15% off coupon from Laura Mercier and have been wanting to try the matte eyeshadow.
Someone here recommended the shade Cashmere a while back, and I'm also looking at Moss and Ginger.
What are your favorites?
Thanks!

I always have both Buttercream (light neutral yellow) and Morning Dew (light neutral pink) and use them as base colors. They are very light and excellent as a base shade.
I know you want matte, but I do highly recommend a color that is in the sateen formula, which is not overly shimmery at all -- just a satin finish. It's called Pewter, and it's a unique gray-green charcoal. I use it in a modified V at the outer corner. It's a very flattering color for my blue eyes.
IMO, you cannot find a better formula for powder eye shadows than Laura Mercier.

I agree that pewter is nice, and also sable in the same collection is really nice. For a matte, I would have to go with cafe au lait, truffle, or plum smoke.

Thanks for the recommendations!

I've never seen a shade quite like it -- charcoal but with a slight green undertone.

I have Vanilla Nuts matte shadow. I like it because it opens up the eye area and place just a tad on the lower lid. I also have a light gray one by her but it's a cream.

I love Sandstone, which isn't completely matte, but has a nice sheen to it. It's a pale pink.
