Facial sunscreen recommendation - oil free - silicone free?

I'm in need of a facial sunscreen.  My skin has been very temperamental, reactive, & sensitive lately so I thought I'd reach out and see if there are recommendations for me here.

Ideally, I'm looking for a sunsceen that is oil free and silicone(s) free.  Tinted would be an added bonus for me!

Any thoughts and recommendation - please let me know.  I need to buy something asap! Also lots of good sales this weekend, so would love to take advantage of that.

Also, I do need a body sunscreen too.  That skin isn't quite as senstive, but probably oil free or low oil for that too would be great.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hope everyone is well and taking care Smiley Happy

a) Olay Sun Face Sunscreen Serum SPF 35 and I LOVE it, it makes the face NOT white and it absorbs into the skin less than 5 minutes

B) Nutrogena Dry Touch sunscreen SPF55, I use it for my body.

Supergoop has one that I want to try. Also First Aid Beauty has one that looks good too. I need one that also plays well with makeup. I never rely on spf in my makeup.

I didn't realize I had any replies - the notification thing isn't showing anyone! sheesh.

@Dinaki  thank you for the recommendation. I'm a little worried that it lists dimethicone high up on the ingredient list, but overall it has great reviews. only a few of the negatives, but everything has some negatives.  I'm going to have to think about this and may give it a try despite that ingredient.  However, hoping maybe someone will post something that they love that is without it.

Are you using the shine free one?  or the primer one?.

Re: Facial sunscreen recommendation - oil free - silicone free?

I use the following if not in Florida or points south:

tinted moisturizer: Osmotics sheer facial tint SPF 45

and Andalou naturals beauty balm natural tint SPF 30

For the beach or equatorial climes: Cotz SPF 40. this is non tinted. This has silicones in it but even though I have sensitive skin this doesn't seem to bother me.  It has good coverage but isn't heavy.

I usually top it with Nourisse 100% mineral powder SPF 50 but also wear this alone.  It's waterproof.  I also have Bare Minerals powder.

All the above are for the face.

For the body I use Thinkbaby SPF 50.

As far as I know only the Cotz has any cones in it.

Hope this helps.

@moonandthestars  Clinique has an SPF 30 oil-free for the face.  They also have one called City Block that is Sheer oil-free for face.

Re: Facial sunscreen recommendation - oil free - silicone free?

@KLm  Thank you for that detailed list!!

I think I may go ahead and try the osmotics.  Overall good reviews and it doesn't seem loaded with siicones like so many others.  Did not have dimethicome, which is great.  Honestly, wish I knew exactly what ingredient is the problem for me, but I'm guessing it's several and it all makes me so nervous!  Anyway, I think I will try that one.

Do you know the shades?  I wonder if medium is a light colored medium?  or if the deep is actually a deep or just a darker medium?  Would you know that?

Also, I can't find the powder spf you mentioned anywhere.  Where do you putchase it?

Thanks again Smiley Happy

@moonandthestars

I have the light in Osmotics.  It is pretty light.  The tube is used up mostly so I guess I use that one more than the others.  It is sheer, but this is my first tube so I don't know if I would go darker next time.  I am pretty fair, even in the summer. This probably doesn't help.  I find ordering online so hard in matching skin tone. The fact that it is so sheer might give more flexibility in matching your tone.

I think I got the powder from Amazon.

Hope this helps.

ETA--If you go to Amazon and search for Nourisse it comes up in the search bar but the results are not nourisse. I have also used Eminence mineral powder and see it is available at Amazon. I got it at a local spa and thought no one made it anymore, which is why I didn't suggest it. I have the one in the tube with the brush so I can carry it with me and apply as needed. It too is a favorite of mine. I'm happy I found it again.  LOL
