We should not look at these skin care items as miracle workers, just as a help to maintain what we have from getting worse.

Re: Face creams

[ Edited ]

Retinol creams might help but they are slow to act plus most of them come in jars which makes the retinol ingredient become weak rather quickly. It should be used up within 3 months. If you can find one in a tube then that would be best.

There are dozens of retinol creams on the market. Choose a reputable brand.

I feel a lot more relaxed about my looks, my obvious aging, since I stopped searching for a youth potion. I cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize. The products I use are not expensive.

This is what I have to do basically!  I can't even exfoliate too much due to sensitivity.  But I have to stick to just basics.  I know by now that I can't tolerate much of anything else.  I'm about to turn 73 and I know I will never look 40 again!  I have been told countless times that I look much younger since I have no wrinkles and just smile lines but perhaps they are just being kind!  LOL!

I don't know what's in it ... but I've been using it every day ever since Avon started selling it.  DRAMATIC FIRMING CREAM.  (You can get it on Amazon now.)
