Papaya Face Mask
Skin Lightening Papaya Mask
1 cup unripe papaya, diced
1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
1-teaspoon plain yogurt
1-teaspoon honey
Directions:
Blend ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Add the mixture to damp face massaging in gently and leave on for 15- 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water; make sure the final rinse is with cool water.
The mask will tingle slightly; if you use ripe papaya instead of green papaya it will not tingle. However, green papaya has more of the papain action that you want to lighten the skin.
Papaya Hair Mask
Super Moist Papaya Conditioner
1 cup ripe papaya, diced
1 cup ripe banana, diced
1-tablespoon molasses
1-tablespoon coconut oil
1-cup yogurt
Directions:
Blend ingredients together thoroughly, there should be no chunks whatsoever, especially from your banana. Apply to damp hair. Cover with a plastic cap. Allow to stay in hair for an hour or more, wrap a towel around the plastic cap to generate heat. Wash out from hair and style as usual.
A variation of this recipe that also works is to add a cup of your favorite deep conditioner in the recipe and you will get super softness.
