Makeup: Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer and Invisible setting powder, cream blush and powder blush, some lipsticks. Origins brown mascara, Laura Geller Italian marble lipsticks, Stila lipstick and BB lipsticks.
Skincare: Marula oil by Acure Organics (great at bedtime for great looking skin), I also have the Brightening Argan oil), Aveda Botanic Kinetics hydrating face lotion (this keeps my skin very hydrated), No. 7 Beautiful Skin spf 15 moisturizer (I use before my tinted moisturizer), Acure Organics scented body lotions, Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk body butter.
@Katcat1 Thanks. I’m loving this thread, too...my favorite subject & great recommendations, too. Many LM devotees, I see. I purchased my white loose setting powder yesterday. I have the giant, very heavy LM hardcover makeup book.

@tototwo wrote:I use one brand for this, one brand for that, another brand for something else.... I don't think I use 2 products from any one brand for either makeup or skin care. Except, all my lipsticks are Revlon and both my mascara and mascara primer are L'oreal. I'm extremely loyal to all of my individual products, repurchasing some of them for more than 30 years. I'm not loyal to brands - I'm loyal to products that work for me.
@tototwo Wow! Yes, 30 yrs. is definitely loyal.

Skin care: First Aid Beauty. Love their face and body products. Great for sensitive, dry skin.
Makeup BareMinerals.

Skincare-The Body Shop Vitamin C line. I am in my 40's and my skin is drier than it used to be and I feel like this line does not make me oilier or drier. They also have frequent sales on their items. I feel like they make quality products but do not have outrageous prices.
Makeup-Probably a toss up between Urban Decay or MAC. I don't feel like you go wrong with either one, as they have a lot of variety and their products are quality. Drugstore prices have went up a lot and even MAC has raised their prices but I espcially feel the MAC and Urban Decay powder and foundation products work much better than the drugstore brands. I do still buy some drugstore things, such as Maybelline mascara and other items.

Makeup: I'm all OVER the map! There are just too many to not like to want to try - I LOVE playing with makeup, trying different looks to see if I might be able to accomplish a different look, but still keeping it natural. I agree with those of you here that prefer to enhance with makeup, not cover up. I do NOT use a full cover foundation and use a lighter hand with just about everything else. I took a cue from Bobbi Brown a very long time ago (1st generation) and it always stuck with me - being naturally pretty, not obvious.
Taking care of your skin is first and foremost, because as we all know, your makeup will only look as good as the skin it is layed upon.
