Chiming in a little late here...but my FAS is from the December TSV also, and it smells very strongly of maple. I get just the teensiest whiff of apple. It's tolerable, but no way would I buy this one on its own.

I have been using it almost exclusively, including for shaving my legs, just to use it up! The smell lingers on my hands, even after I wash them 3/4 times. If it were more apple/spice and way less maple, it would've been wonderful!

Oh, I tried leaving mine open for a few days...all it did was smell up my bathroom!

This is how my first bottle was. I had to give it away and get it out of the house! My niece loved it. Second bottle is just no where near that strong a scent.

I'm very new to Wen--just started in the fall, then got the December TSV--but I read here a lot, and this scent seems to be the most "you either love it or hate it" of all!
