I've been trying false lashes just for the heck of it...not for every day. You'd think I'd be a pro, but found black lash glue. Yay! This makes all the difference. Black liner not needed.

Anyone tried this and has it been available all along and I'm just seeing this?

Black glue has been around, but I'm more surprised you're trying them.   I thought you were always anti-falsh lashes.

@San Antonio Gal   A few things happened: I lost a few lashes during cataract sugery. Doc said it can happen...I guess eyes are clamped open for several minutes. So playing w/ eye makeup for the first time in many, many weeks I figured I'd practice on myself. I don't think it's my look...I go more natural, but happy I figured it out just for fun.

   I've never been a fakie wearer either. I've just used them a couple of times when going out and do like the look but when taking them off the glue 

always seems to pull eyelashes out and I'm afraid I'm damaging my already kinda sparse lashes.

 I've been interested in trying Kim Gravel's glueless ones but they seem kind of expensive for the amount you get to me..... 

   I just wish the whole process were easier because as I've gotten older and lids are drooping a little I think longer lashes would hide/lift the slight droop a little.

But I agree, it's fun to play!

@monicakm Yes, I know. Fakies wasn't my term but a term used in place of false lashes by the OP.

Give me fake, false, faux, temporary, smoke and mirrors any day all day and I'm a happy girl. haha

Thanks for the lash remover rec. I never used such a thing. I'd just give the lashes a tug and rip! ouch!
