Eyelift Surgery Tomorrow

Appt tomorrow @ Mayo Clinic for eyelid surgery and wonder if any of you beautiful ladies who have had procedure can give some "insights" (pardon the pun!). Mine is not cosmetic but rather to correct lids that droop so much they impair my vision to drive and read. How about swelling? Recovery time? I have great confidence in my surgeon but I don't know anyone personally who has had eye lifts or would admit it. Any thoughts?
