For a good drugstore hack that NYX really holds up very very well. I hope they still make the same formula, I bought it a while back.

I am in a perpetual search for a good eye primer, they ALL make my eyes water so badly that I never use them, hence my eye shadow looks great for about an hour every day and then POOF, it disappears.

I have stopped using shadow due to the fact that they look great for five minutes (ok, an hour) and then they "evaporate"

Does this product make your eyes water???

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it

I love Laura Geller Eyelid Spackle.  My eyeshadow stays on my deeper set eyes!  Q stays sold out or they don't carry it.  I get it at Ulta or Laura's site which is now 30% off.Smiley Happy

I love this Milani lid primerHeart. It has just a touch of tint. I also use this on my lips to make my lippies stay longer on my lips.

Milani Eyeshadow Primer - around $6 most places and it's top-rated.Woman Happy

I went through a year or so when my eyes watered from everything...even changed to waterproof mascara. For primer and shadow during that time, I used waterproof shadow sticks. Mally has some, LG & so does BB and I'm sure there are drugstore brands. The lighter bone/vanilla shades are a wonderful primer.

LG was the first ever primer I tried!  Although I loved the Spackle, my eyes watered like I was crying all day long.  Needless to say, I have given up on it, but thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks, @SilleeMee.  I have not seen this brand, I will certainly search it out and give it a try!  I am excited, because if it works, I can wear shadow again!!
Thanks

@SilleeMee, I need to go back to this one. Had it a while ago and then strayed. For the price, it can't be beat.

I have been using Urban Decay primer for years.... My eye lids always had that greasy look with eyeshadow and I tried every primer from A-Z.  Nothing worked until I met a friend for lunch and she said she used Urban Decay on the day of her son's wedding.  She was so happy the eyeshadow and make-up stayed so well she had me sold.  That's the only primer I will buy - found it at Sephora and also Amazon...Have fun with it - does work very well.

I've been using MAC 24 hr shadow base and it works great. I've never tried the Milani primer but I ordered it and will try it. It's definitely cheaper, but the MAC one has lasted a long time as a little goes a long way.
