@Icegoddess  You are beautiful and you have beautiful brows! I've seen them on the super stylish Outfit of The Day photos you post! Smiley HappyHeart

@SportyShorty07 Thank you so much.  The only reason I would consider doing something like that is that it would be nice to have a better brow presence on the days I don't wear makeup without having to do them.  I rarely bother unless, like today, I had some things to do with my husband while we were out and about. I could probably just tint them, but then I'm stuck on a tinting schedule like I have with my hair color.

@Icegoddess You're welcome Smiley Happy! I've had success with tinting  my own eyebrows- I like their thickness and shape, but since I was born a blonde, some of my eyebrow hairs are blonde and others are naturally dark brown, so tinting helps to create a uniform dark brow look.  I use Ardell brow tint and I get it at Ulta dot com and the results last a month on me.  My tip is to set a kitchen timer when you are tinting your own brows- I lost track of time while watching TV and my eyebrows ended up looking jet black and were too stark against my complexion. I've tried other tints and they don't last as long as Arbell brow tint powder- that's the winner in my book and most affordable too Smiley Happy

Even with eyebrow tint, I love to wear brow products, so I use Anastasia Beverly Hills brow color in the little glass jar.  I was watching Mally on QVC and she presented a very nice new product trio of brow products that would be fun to try.  Bottom line is- eyebrows have different shapes, colors and densities on different women and I think women should rock and make the most of the unique and lovely brows that we have!

@SportyShorty07 I may try the Ardell.  I've seen it on Amazon too.

I always use a timer when I'm coloring my hair or I would lose track of time too.  I've also had that happen with boiling water, so I try not to step away from the kitchen unless it's something on a timer.

@Icegoddess   Ardell is a great brow tint and I have sensitive skin and I didn't have any reactions t it.  Also, I love Ardell lash and brow growth serum gel- its a wand brush applicator style and $12 for a set of three sold and shipped by amazon dot com.  That brow growth serum is great and so affordable.   I use kitchen timers for everything- cooking, doing the dishes, tinting my brows, exercising etc a kitchen timer is the jey to keeping my mind on track Smiley Very Happy.  One time I was heating hot chocolate over the stove top in a small pan and I turned away from it for what I thought was a minute (definitely longer than a minute in hindsight) and it boiled over and got all over the entire stovetop and I had to clean it up with rags.  Now I stand in front of the stove the entire time until I'm done heating up hot chocolate or apple cider Smiley Very Happy.

@SportyShorty07 supposedly, if you put a wooden spoon across the top of the pot, it won't boil over, or so I've read.  I've never tried it with hot chocolate though.  I've had pretty good luck with a big pot with spaghetti though.

@Icegoddess  That is such a good tip that I've never heard before- thank you so much Smiley HappyHeart ! I'm going to try it when I make my hot chocolate or hot apple cider today!

@monicakm  Thank you for the Google device tip! I have an iphone 5, but I don't really know how to use it other than for photos, calls, or texts- and I'm not sure what a bluetooth is? I wish I could have your technology computer skills! Smiley Very HappyHeart  I'll definitely look into getting the google device or the alexa device- that sounds really futuristic and cool, sort of like the TV show The Jetsons! Smiley Happy

@monicakm Oooh thank you for the tips, Monica! Its so awesome that you're a beauty and technology expert Smiley Very HappyHeart!  I still use an i-phone 5 and exercise to 80s aerobics VHS tapes, so I'm definitely behind the times in technology Smiley Very Happy.  I watched CES 2024 clips- the Withings Beamo multiscope 4 in 1 health checkup device looks super cool- it is slated to be released in 2024 and will be $250 and has a digital stethescope, checks body temperature, and ECG and pulse oximiter and an app to send results to the patient's physician.  The future is now! Smiley Very Happy

Wow @SportyShorty07 , that's an awesome medical device.  Seems like something all senior types should have on hand.  Do you think you'll get one?  I know  you're not a "senior type" (g)

@monicakm  I think that the Withings Beamo device would be fantastic for seniors or anyone who needs to monitor their health at home! I'd be interested in getting something similar to it- but only to monitor heart rates- maybe some type of heart rate monitor device so that when I do my 80's aerobics tapes I can actually know what my resting heart rate is Smiley Very HappyHeart.  I think what I want is called a "pulse oximeter" to track my beats per minute during aerobics.

@monicakm   Yep, I'm sticking with my iphone 5 because I have so many cute phone cases for it and they won't fit the bigger phones.  That's so sweet that you give your older phones to your husband Smiley HappyHeart
