In my endless quest to find a suitable eyebrow product,  I ordered a set that came with brushes,  a pot of color and wax.   No instructions.   Am I supposed to mix the color and the wax,  then apply.... or what?

I had a product like this once.  you put the color on your brows first, then use the wax to set the powder and it also gives your brows a slight sheen.

@Kachina624@september. You can also do the reverse and lightly brush the wax through first to shape the brows & then brush the powder over it. The wax holds it on.

@Shanus  That makes sense since applying the wax after the color would tend to wipe it off.   Thanks.

@Kachina624 Learned that the hard way...very dark hair, almost white skin? Brows can look like drawn w/ sharpie quite easily. 😁

Overall..I don't think it makes a difference if you use a separate product before or after you apply your eyebrow color.  I think most eyebrow crayon like products already have some wax in them to keep your brow hairs looking neat.

I wax second too.

the color is in; the wax brushes them in to shape
