Re: Eye makeup remover

[ Edited ]

*Palmers Cleansing Oil

or

*Banilla Co. Clean It Zero cleansing balm (pink jar. )

Apply to a dry face. Massage around.  Add a little water to emulsify.  Remove with a warm, damp cloth.

I use Yves Rocher eyemakeup remover. It is the only one I can use. Not greasy nor does it bother my eyes at all.

I never use waterproof mascara. I take off my eye makeup with good old soap and water. Or I use Ponds cold cream. Super!

Why do people spend $$$$ on special products to remove eye makeup?  I never understood that.

That's why the beauty business is a BILLION dollar business.

As others have suggested, soap & water or Vaseline.  "Old School" Ponds as a backup.

I use baby oil takes off eye makeup like a dream. Why spend extra money when you don't have to. Anything with an oil in it will take off makeup.

I use and love Pura d'or organic sweet almond oil.

It's a 16 Oz pump bottle,  I buy from Amazon. No fragrance,  but I wouldn't mind if it did.  I pump some on a cotton ball, and it thoroughly removes my eye make-up,  without clouding my eyes.  Also I'll put some on another cotton ball and swipe my entire face with it...its amazing and gets off everything.   I have not broken out either.  I then follow up with my glycolic cleanser.  You can use this oil for anywhere on your body as well for a nice moisturizer.  Sometimes I'll dab a dot under my eyes in the morning for a moisturizer...I love it on my hands, dry cuticles, and feet...everywhere is just fine🙂

I use Philosophy Purity in the shower and take all of the makeup at once.  You could also use it as a face wash.

What kind of soap do you use? I thought that some soaps could irritate the eye area.  Vaseline also works for removing eye makeup.
