Micellar water does indeed leave a light film, especially the micellar made to remove waterproof stuff. I always do a second cleanse after using micellar water.

I have very dry skin and I use Clinique cleansing balm, it takes off my waterproof mascara my makeup.  I really like  it.  I just had my face lasered, Lumecca and was great to help remove all the crusty stuff.
