Maybelline Brownstones Duo is very nice and only $3.00. I got the recommendation from the book "Toss The Gloss, Beauty Tips, Tricks and Truths for Women 50+" by Andrea Q.Robinson. I would never have known about or given this eye shadow a second glance otherwise. She has other good recommendations in the book.

I like Satin Sheers for the lids which have a soft glow but no sparkles & mattes for the crease etc... IMO I just think anything like a Maybelline Tattoo type of product for the lid only accentuates somewhat crepy lids.

I can reco. Urban Decay Satin eyesadows & their mattes singles sold at Ulta or Sephora. I have many pallettes but I find myself wearing Satins & Mattes the most & I think it looks well at any age.

Just wanted to add that if the poster really wants only the palette and nothing else, she might find that PC's shipping is very reasonable.
