Coming on here to ask for help or suggestions since we have so many forum members who are so knowledgeable. I'm in my mid-70s and my undereye area is very crepey. I have used different eye creams and nothing seems to help. Everything just seems to sit on top of my skin and doesn't penetrate. Is this common and should I just chalk this up to aging? The rest of my skin seems to soak up the products I use. Thanks for any help.

Hi @Carolina925 . Are you looking for an overnight eye cream or one for during the day?

For day, under concealer, I use Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream. It's moisturing but not so much that concealer slides off. At night I use Skinceuticals A.G.E Eye Cream. You can purchase it from derms or med spas or google what online sites carry it. ***It's on the pricey side, but works wonders.

@Carolina925    I use Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream over Tatcha The Serum Stick twice a day.  Have tried others but always return to these two.  Nothing else works as well for me.

I strictly use Organic Rosehip Seed Oil on my entire face and around the eyes (yes it's safe for the eye area) at night and it's incredible for your skin. You can read all about it's benefits on line, you will find many articles touting it's wonders. It's not a heavy oil, and it's loaded with natural Vitamin A (retinol) Vitamin E and fatty acids. It also stimulates reproduction of Collagen in the skin, which is why I use it at night when your body and skin are in repair mode. It in fact is so full of Vitamin A that it is orange in color when it comes out of the bottle. I keep mine in my mini beauty fridge, and that is reccomended.

If however you wish to go the traditional route and use a commercial product for your eyes, I suggest Tatcha Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream. Pricey, but it is superior to any other commercial eye cream I have tried over the years.

@rockygems123  Hi! I use Mountain Rose Herbs. I have the 2 ounce bottle. You can use straight on the skin or if you prefer, mix with your moisturizers. But needs to be in fridge as it's cold pressed and to preserve the vitamins.

The eye area is important to tighten, so I sometimes use any one of a number of serums by Clinique, which are great, Nivea, and L'Oreal.

I also dab on some Estradiol cream around the eyes twice a week when I use it for the girlie parts.  Helps smooth things out and give a refreshed look.

Many women do this according to the internet, and I find it helps give a moisturized look and feel.

In warm weather, I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, a wonderfully moisturizing standby.  And I also find that it 'tightens' things up a bit.

Thanks, @Shanus . I was looking for something to use in the daytime. I usually put on Fre Argan Oil for the night and that doesn't sink in upon application but I don't expect an oil to do that. I appreciate your response.

Thanks for your suggestions! The only one I've tried is the Tatcha and had a bad reaction to my eyes, not the skin but the eye itself. I will surely try the other recommendations!
