I've never ever checked expiration dates on makeup before. When I read on the forums that my favorite IT CC Cream was being discontinued, I ordered one right away since the one I'd been using expired last July, which I didn't check until I'd read that. Got my new tube yesterday and the expiration date is 9/22! There's no way I'll use it up by then but at least it'll give me the opportunity to find a replacement by then. I really feel disappointed that QVC and IT would even sell something like this, it should have been at a giveaway price. I'll surely be checking expiration dates from now on out since it's apparent that companies may be getting rid of old stock. Shame on QVC and IT!

But how does one check expiration dates [from tv or on-line shopping] before they buy?
Can you send it back now? Or, I would just use it up until it is gone. Unless you start smelling somthing off, or it separates.

@Harpa, we don't know and have to depend on the vendors we use. I think definitely I'd have a good reason to return it. I use very little of this product, even though I use it daily, but I expected it to last at least a year.

I don't use anything from Adrian, (hsn) but I do like how she always states, "freshly poured."
I would dare any other vendor to say that!

Since that CC cream comes in a sealed pump-tube then it's likely to be okay well past it's expiration date. Had it come in an open jar then that would make it a thing of concern on multiple levels above and beyond an expiration date. You should be fine with using it up completely without worries mainly b/c of the packaging.

don't open it and keep it in a very cool spot and it will last well beyond a year past its expiration date. I have amazing grace lotion that I know I won't use until next year in my refrigerator. I have done that many times.
I copied and pasted an article about a month ago that showed the US Army did tests on a whole bunch of things and they use 15 years, L O L, past expiration dates for some things.
