Eve Pearl -- Comments, please

If you own any Eve Pearl, I would love to hear your comments about the products.  I thought the blush and foundation were impressive but pricey so before I spend $$, let's hear your comments.    Cat HappyCat Happy

I wanted everything but I didn't buy anything. It really looked nice and I didn't feel it was overly expensive.

I use her concealer and I do love it! It blends nicely and the coverage is great. I bought the eye kit today and the blush kit. I feel it was priced okay as I shop at Sephora a lot and her prices are not that different from most of the brands in there. I'm excited to try the products I ordered today.

I have the neutral shadow palette and love it. I don't remember where I got it (SHOPNBC?), but I do pull it out every now and then. Good quality shadows.

I didn't think the young models looked that great in the makeup, I did think the model in her 60's with the fair skin and white hair looked gorgeous. I didn't buy any thing because I like makeup with skin care and an spf in it, the price wasn't that bad.

Re: Eve Pearl -- Comments, please

I ordered some of her products about 5 years ago directly from her website.  The foundation didn't work for me, much too emolient for my oily skin.  The concealer is nice but I found others that are similar for much less $$ such as Benefit's Erase Paste or the Pixi brightening peach concealer.  The blush was nice but not anything out of the ordinary.  I haven't ordered any of her makeup since because I felt it was just too costly for what it was.

I tend to pay attention when Joy is used as a model because I have her coloring. IMHO after the foundation application Joy looked like she was wearing a mask! Too heavy. I thought the look was ghastly/ghostly! Not a make-up look that suited me at all. I wanted to like it, but have taken a pass.

Thanks for starting this thread, KatCat.  I saw some of the presentations and I was also intrigued.  I'm seriously considering the Sweet Cheeks blush trio.  I love the colors, but can't decide if it's really worth the money.  Guess there's no way to know except try.  On the fence..
