Just caught the last hour of the 3 hour beauty show on HSN and I really wanted that Eve Lom cleanser, have heard about it for years, Alas, I have so many products right now that I had to be good and not pick up the phone. Did any of you buy items tonight?

I am also curious if others have tried this product. The models seemed to have a lighter eye make up application that they were removing. It  just didn't seem very effective if someone had eyeshadow liner and mascara. How well does it remove water proof products?

No Eve Loom for me. It is too expensive for what you get. 15 oz is $225.00 at Nordstroms

Ingredients

Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Peg-30 Lanolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Aluminum Stearate, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Peg-75 Lanolin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Leaf Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Cone Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Eugenol, Limonene.

Albolene is an excellent makeup remover. 12 oz retails for $12.99 no fragrance and no parabens

  • Mineral oil is a skin conditioner used to soften and smooth the skin.
  • Petrolatum is a moisturizing emollient and skin-conditioning ingredient. It also provides protection to help keep the skin’s own moisture from evaporating.
  • Paraffin is a skin-conditioning ingredient that contains lubrication properties and can also help retain moisture in the skin.
  • Ceresin is a naturally occurring wax that is used as an emulsifier and conditioner.
  • Beta-carotene is a carotenoid compound and is used as a skin-conditioning ingredient.

i am an Eve Lom cleansing balm convert. I have menopausal skin (dry, oily, combo and sensitive depending on the day) and rosacea.  I've tried every cleansing oil and balm that comes along and NOTHING compares to eve lom. (abolene left a greasy film and did not rinse clean at all-threw the entire container away after two uses-not for me) I am aware it is mainly mineral oil and for a long time would not spend the $$ on principal. But then I realized-I guess i dont really care whats in a cleanser i'm rinsing off if it; doesnt flare my rosacea, cleans my skin and leaves it hydrated with no residue-which this does.  Enter the jumbo size -perfect solution! One 16 oz container lasts me over 6 months if i use it twice a day. I am not a product loyalist-i tend to buy something once and move on, even if i like it. Not so with this-just bought my third jumbo-debated as i have 2/3 left of the one i'm using, but the OTO with easy pay was too good to pass up as they only have that product once or twice a year. I agree with the arguments in theory-but no denying for me-this is my HG cleanser. And it removes ALL makeup very well. Sometimes you just gotta go with what works. PS-I tried other products in her line-didnt like any for the price-but the cleanser is the bomb!

I typically use Purity after working all day but a few years ago started reading about Eve Lom and have seen Lisa Eldridge discuss it on her videos. I bought a few samples on eBay and LOVED this cleansing balm. I just turned 60 and when I used Eve Lom the cleanser isn't only effective and leaves my skin feeling cleansed, stimulated and massaged, but it is a sense of slowing down after a stressful work day and doing something kind for myself. I bought the 3.3 oz size first and only allowed myself to use 1-2 times a week so I didn't use it up but when the 16.9 oz size was presented I thought I'd treat myself and use every night and enjoy the pampering treat. Thank you QVC for the amazing price!

Eve Lom used to be sold HERE so I was wondering where it went, lol.

I have the cleansing balm in the jar as well as the Daily/Morning Cleanser that comes in a tube. Different textures and formulations. In the winter, I use the balm at night and it does remove everything but I can NOT use it over my eyes. Also, the cloth is too much for my sensitive skin- I use a very plush cotton one instead. I love the scent of the jar but the tube smells like....cow manure- no really, it does.

If you really want to try it, contact Nordstrom and get a sample packet. Go from there. : )
