Re: Emjoi Replacement Rollers

Well, the Emjoi website says the green ones are the most coarse, so I order them from their website. Free shipping, BTW! They also have a couple of more powerful pedi units that I am eyeing. They have a more powerful motor and one plugs in versus battery. A whole new unit is definitely in my future. I can't imagine my feet without this thing!

I order from the emjoy site also, but the blue ones aren't lasting very long so the green ones sound like the answer. Although....that's good to know about the new unit, expatgal! I haven't look at their site in a couple of months. I'm going to have to check it out today. Thanks for the info!

I think plug in is the way to go, my regular battery one just doesn't have the staying power & I need more grit, yes, I have lots of callouses

These both plug in, which one are you interested in?

The Micro-Pedi Nano ($49.95) spins 30 times a second with 2 speeds

The Micro_Pedi Power ($69.95) spins 47 times a second, looks like only one speed

I may go for the Power one, I like that it spins more

Re: Emjoi Replacement Rollers

I got extras when I ordered my Emjoi last year. Should have known I could've gotten a better price on the refills elsewhere. I buy something from Amazon almost every week. duh

BTW, has anyone seen the Clarisonic pedicure tool that's been showing in the magazines? I won't buy one, but just wondering how long it'll be before QVC has it & how it works. Seems like this "bare foot" time of year would be the perfect time to launch it.

Re: Emjoi Replacement Rollers

I have found that the rollers last a lot longer if I use a stiff brush and clean them each time I use them. I use a very stiff brush - remove the roller from the unit and brush it off really well. it says on the package that should last for one season so i decided to see if I could make it do that. If i only need 4 a year I don't mind the price. So far so good. After they are cleaned really well they are like brand new.

There was a discussion about the Clarisonic pedicure tool quite some time ago. It was agreed that it is over-priced and unnecessary. Everyone wondered why anyone would consider buying it when the Emjoi is so good & inexpensive.
