Hi beauties!!
I bought the Grande Lash brand of electric eyelash curler and these are my thoughts for anyone interested in such a product :-)
At first I did think it was a little wierd. Like why? LOL. Then I started to think I don't like the manual ones anymore-- too hard to make a lasting curl without having the mascara on. And that causes my lashes to stick to the curler.
I did see the presentation on the Q but didn't buy it then. I bought at Sephora on whim. I remembered the woman from Grande said and it's in the instructions that it works better WITH mascara on. That sounded good to me.
I have been using, with tubing mascara (both grande tubing and Merit tubing mascaras). I like! There is a learning curve -- mostly deciding which is better wet or dry mascara. I think the instructions might say to use with wet mascara, but I prefer it dry.
I turn it on high (there are two settings) and it heats up in a min or two. Then I turn it to low and use it. I look down and press the curler up against my lashes. I hold it for as long as I can before I want to blink or move-- about 15 seconds. I like the look and it seems to last longer than with the manual curler. The way I hold the curler matters-- it's like drying your hair with a dryer-- you have to do it in the direction you want the lashes to go...I do it more on angle to curl the lashes to the outside like a wing eyeliner.
I hope this make sense. LOL.
TLDR: I bought the Grande lash Brand at Sephora. There was a learing curve for me and I will continue to use. I don't follow the instructions to use on wet mascara. I wait till dry and use tubing mascara. Two thumbs up.

My curler doesn't clamp down on the lases--only heats from the underside and then you press it upward. Works very well with mascara on and I use the tubing too.

Years ago I bought a heated lash curler made by Mirenesse sold on Hsn at the time. It was a wand style just like that Grande Lash curler. I remember the thing was a metallic gold in color. Worked really well. I used it on my lashes after applying the Mirenesse tubing mascara once it was dry. Can't remember what happened to it. Probably laying in my hoard of beauty devices somewhere...LOL!

OK, I'm game. I found a less expensive off brand on Amazon, but people seem to like it. It'll be here Tuesday. 🤞

@SilleeMee - Gacavks Electric Heated Eyelash Curler. It's rechargeable and inexpensive. There's a coupon to apply.

I think I'm going to get a wand that clips on instead. Might be better for my stubborn stick-straight lashes. We'll see.

Thanks for this info. I've been debating purchasing this.

@JeanLouiseFinch - Had a heated eyelash curler years ago and liked it a lot. Saw your post and since it had a coupon, well, guess what ended up in my cart. Mine will be here on Tuesday as well. I like that this is a comb, think it'll be easier for me to use than the one I had before.
