I'd say the appeal of his hair is a matter of individual taste and perception. I think his hair is amazing. It certainly gives him a very different and unusual look that makes him stand out from the crowd. Some see that as a curse while others see it as a marketing plus. Were I looking for a standard bearer for masculine pulchritude, his look probably wouldn't be 'it', but I don't think that's what he's going for anyway...

I think that is the real problem some posters have with him...his orientation.

But it's easier to pick on his hair.

Oh, please.

Is everything these days about THAT?

I am sick of hearing about it.

Hyacinth

No, everything is not about THAT. But some things are.

Sorry that you're sick of hearing about it. I guess it wouldn't do any good to remind you that those who are of that "orientation" or who know and love people who are or who are just sick of intolerance are probably much more tired of it than you.

For the record, I have no idea whether the OP meant anything more than that she just happens to think his hair is a distraction. But on any thread about him, there are always some posts that are clear in their subtext.

I was very fortunate to meet Edward at Bergdorf's last month and he is delightful! He did my daughter's makeup while chatting with me about how happy he is to be able to reach out to women through QVC. He was charming, articulate, and has a fantastic sense of humor. I asked him what hair products he uses and he told me to wait a little longer because he will be launching his hair products on QVC--his hair is unbelievably healthy and attractive. Something to look forward to from this talented young entrepreneur!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Androgynous model. There are few of them. He can get work posing as a male or a female.

In response to whether his products are really good, in my opinion, they are. I purchased several products as did my daughter. She is very satisfied with them, as am I. She works in the cosmetics industry in NYC for a large cosmetics corporation and has access to many different brands of cosmetics. She was impressed with Edward's foundation and skincare products. I loved his lipstick! P.S. He has impeccable Southern manners too.

I thought they would have to be good to be sold at Bergdorf's. I want to try the concealer and foundation.

Thanks for the reply!

Are his products cruelty-free?
