Maybe these small up and comings beauty brands could be prominently featured on the (variety brand) beauty shows. My feeling is the brands which have regular dedicated shows really don't need to be on the variety beauty shows, but somehow QVC marketing is to pack products from those brands into those shows, often following the beauty hour with a two-hour window of one of the popular brands. We saw plenty of that last weekend. That leaves very few opportunities to showcase products from the brands many customers aren't familiar with.
@Trix ITA. If on shows like We Love Beauty, etc., they’d leave out IT and Philosophy which we see ad nauseum and have put in the brands like Edward Bess & Nude Stix (which we lost), Eve Pearl, K. Buckle, Bobbi Brown (online, but no longer on air)....They’re just not getting what women want in makeup/skincare variety. If I see one more bowl of water w/ a sponge and a Philosophy vendor squeezing the gel into mounds of bubbles, I’ll scream. After all years and 1/2 a brain, we get that shower gel lathers when water added. Don’t take 15 minutes to demo in a beauty or worse, clothing show.

I did not really care about his hair, but his prices were to high for my pocketbook. I think that more than anything was perhaps his demise for the QVC shopper.

That's why I couldn't sit through one of his shows. His appearance was a complete turn off me. Perhaps for others too.
@chrystaltree Somehow judging someone by his looks and not his products doesn’t sit right with me.
I agree @Shanus... and yet somehow, in this case, I'm not surprised...

QVC is promoting the IT and Josie Maran and all the others we see so frequently; those are popular brands that bring in a ton of money.
I think we all pretty much know how things around here work. That doesn't preclude expressions of frustration when brands that have garnered a following, even a small following, are discontinued, nor does it preclude suggesting QVC might make some effort to build up some vendors rather than rely on endless repetition of the same few. I'd guess no one honestly expects anything to change, but sometimes feeling one has 'had one's say' is important and it's also rather harmless... I too liked the Bess brand and regret it's no longer carried by QVC.

That's too bad, I always enjoyed watching him. I use IT Cosmetics skincare, but OMG they are on everytime I turn the TV on. I really can't take watching them anymore. Same with Philosophy. I love the stuff, but I can only watch so much of the same presentations over and over.

Yes, we knew the line was expensive, but selling sample sized lipsticks for prestige full size prices just doesn't cut it. That was maybe the second beauty item I've returned in 22 years and I've bought a lot of lines.

I discovered Edward Bess through QVC. It is a great brand. I love his foundation. I just ordered the last one from Neiman Marcus since Q no longer offers it. Got free shipping too. I liked all of the items I got from him which I can't say about many brands.
