DO you check products out on the EWG website before you buy? I have been for a couple of years. There are so many things that I see on there that I search the actual product online and ask if its toxic or non toxic etc. Sometimes they match but also sometimes the actual products say not toxic when EWG claims they are. So how do you really know?

What is EWG? It's always helpful if you define an acronym.

No, I don't check EWG. I like to go to INCIDecoder dot com to check ingredients there.
I also go to the FDA Cosmetics Products & Ingredients site for more info.
EWG is not reliable, imo. They have been known to exaggerate risks of chemicals.
Cosmetic companies pay to participate on EWG and companies donate to them as well. The whole thing is a sham imo.
