I had to downsize my makeup when we moved. I had way too much that I never used or was only reached for once in awhile.

Now I start by spashing my face w/ warm water and then a niacinamide serum (Kiehl's), moisturizer (Emolliance from Skinceuticals) and also Skinceuticals Physical SPF 50.

Merit has become my makeup of choice: the Minimalist is my every day makeup stick and concealer. What could be easier? Then the Flush Blush cream blush in a few pink shades, thier Brow Pomade and also Merit tubing mascara and DONE!

They have great cream shadows that dry down and stay put that I add if going out. The darker shades can be used as liner with a fine tipped brush.

What is your every day morning routine?

Merit is on my radar...only just started to pay attention on YouTube or Instagram with it...don't need any new makeup currently, but at some point will check them out.

My usual daily routine...

Inis SPF 33 cream over my usual DD Hydroshield and Dream Cream.

Concealer always, Nars is still my fav, but such a small tube for $30, that I always am supplementing too...I have a Maybelline one I like and some from Sephora brand...there are other good ones. Not as good as Nars, but in some ways more moisturizing. The one thing about Nars...I love the coverage and shade match, but at times it can look drying under my eye.

LG...Balance & Brighten foundation powder, and her blush

A neutral type eyeshadow, various brands, some matte, some subtle shimmers.

Some Mally pencil liners, in my bottom waterline.

Clear brow gel to keep them in place.

Mascara. My current fav is the LG Kajal mascara that came with a kit I bought for other products...really works well, I'll buy it again. Usually my drugstore go-to is Loreal Voluminous mascara

Takes me maybe 5-7 minutes for full routine..

If just going out quick for a walk and just need to look "human", lol...concealer, blush, maybe a little mascara. Done and out!

Here goes......     I wash my face with a Salux cloth while in the shower.  Next use eye serum with Eyeliss® and Haloxyl® (for dark circles).    Bliss Bright Idea® moisturizer.

Still have some discontinued Revlon Illuminance® foundation that I use as a concealer.   Dust with W7 Pink Blur®.  NYX eyeshadow, liner & blush, and LG highlighter.     

Sometimes, I go overboard and even wear mascara and lip gloss...ya know, if I'm going to a "better" store or stopping for lunch.       di

Checked out Merit's website.  Nice selection of shades.

For me, the current routine is:

Wash with Cetaphil cleanser, Normal to Dry formula

Apply Alba Botanica Ultra Hydrating Moisturizing Cream

Mix two shades (one drop each, Fair and Medium) of Lumene CC cream

Set with a sheer layer of LG Balance-n-Brighten in LIght

LG blush (Pink Grapefruit)

Ulta eyeliner in Matte Brown

Maybelline Full 'N Soft washable mascara, Very Black

Burt's Bees tinted lip balm

Result?  Presentable!

Hi I love Merit too . It has become my daily face to face. I use sunscreen then put a little of Merit SPF . I use the stick under my eyes .Then a bit of flush bomb , eyeshadow, brow and either lipstick or lip oil and a little mascara. Merit is amazing!

Oh. forgot lips!!!  I put on City Lips Clear (only when on sale) before beginning makeup and it gives nice rosey tint by itself...yes, a bit of stinging, but I've gotten used to it. 

Then I add a Merit gel lip liner and a lip balm..smudge w/ finger and that's it.

@Shanus - I've never heard of Merit, but I'll definitely be looking it up!

I have 3 different "routines." I'm also very fickle when it comes to makeup, so I will share my current late summer looks!

I start with Tatcha rice powder cleanser. I've been using a rice powder cleanser since my early 20's in Japan!  I might use a little Josie Maran milk, but I always use sunscreen!

Everyday M-F look: Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint, Westmore 60-second Eye Effects, blush - rms or Laura Geller, rms Eyelights, LG Kajal liner, Tarte Tartelette brown mascara (travel size), rms brow pencil and powder, Benefit Gimme Brow, Mally Face Defender or LG Spackle Mist, Lipsense color and gloss. 

At home days: bareMinerals Complexion Rescue, bareMinerals Nude Highlighting Blush, LWYA by Kim Gravel Eye Enhance Shadow Stick in Nude. LG pencil liner, brows - same as above, Spackle Mist.

Online Days: I have to do a heavier look. LG Champagne Spackle, Voodoo Makeup Coconut Cream Foundation and Concealer, LG Baked eyeshadow, LG Kajal liner, Tarte Tartelette, LG Kajal or Ilia mascara in Black, brows - same as above, blush same as everyday but heavier, Lipsense - because it doesn't come off! And Mally Face Defender!

I have too much makeup, and I'm always tempted by more! I always change my makeup seasonally too.

Cleanse, serums, moisturize,  SPF and the most important thing--I do my brows--always--- and then lip balm.Only  gussy up if I am going out and about, but usually nothing more than  the bare necessities. I, too, have way too much stuff.
