Has anyone used? If so, please tell me how this compares to Loreal or any other store brand.

I've used ESalon color for a couple of years. What I like about it is that there is someone there to help me tweak it and give me advice when I think I need it. The color is consistent and beautiful - for me anyway.

Too bad I've already found my perfect hair color at the drugstore. Vidal Sassoon Medium Vibrant Red 5RR. Reds are hard to duplicate, so I best stay with what I have.

I love it.
Grays starting coming in. =( I never colored my dark brown hair before. Dreaded having it done. I went to a a salon that is known for great coloring & hair painting...I thought I would trust them. I specifically mentioned I just wanted my grays covered and I did not want any coppery or burgundy/reddish hints/tones (which is what I commonly see and personally do not find attractive). Well, that is what I got unfortunately...
I decided to give E-salon a shot - heard good things about it - watched youtube videos etc.
I tried it - loved it and I am about to give myself my second treatment. My gray is covered - no reddish tones or hints - just natural dark brown hair...not to mention it feels healthy and is shiny too! I feel relieved that I found a solution and don't have to worry about a "professional" ruining my hair nor wasting time and money at a salon either.
It is easy to use as well! I recommend it! =)

I've been using Esalon for a couple of years and love it. I was getting my hair colored at a salon for years and watched my hairdresser apply the color a hundred times and figured, this isn't rocket science, I can do this at home.
I get the permanent color to cover my salt-n-pepper gray roots with a medium brown color and it covers the gray beautifully, no reddish roots. I also order the color enhancing gloss for the ends and my hair is nice and glossy. It comes out exactly the same as the color I was getting at a salon for half the price. Granted, I'm not doing any fancy highlights or lowlights, just plain straight color. My DH says my hair always looks a consistent nice color.
You can buy the rubber gloves, cape, hair clips, application brush and whatnot at a Sally Beauty supply. I like that I can color my hair on my schedule, not a salon's schedule.
