Looks like PHILOSOPHY and IT are running neck & neck for most over exposed shows and repetitive products. The bowls of water w/ frothy bubbles has been on the table since Christina first appeared to present the first Philosophy shows. Does anyone by now not know how to suds up the bath gel? The products also are grouped together to make the cost too high. It's rare to see a "deal" on just a bath/shower gel unless it's in a set w/ lotion and spritz. No mega sizes for me. I've had them smell "off" before reaching the bottom. You'd smell moldy too if you stayed in the shower for 5-6 months. Add the fact the gels have sulfates that dry my skin and make them not suitable for shampoo. This huge size just crowds up the shower shelf even more where my s&c, razor and husband's body wash have to fit. The final insult (after the price hit) is that by the time I towel dried & put on makeup, I can no longer smell the fragrance....even though the vendors suggest layering gel, lotion & fragrance. What a sales pitch to now sell 3 products. Yes, I know change the channel, mute button, etc. The over abundance of these shows being scheduled adnausium takes up the space for other programming.

I love Philosophy products and I love watching their shows...no matter how often they are on! I do, however, agree with you about the mega sizes! I don't purchase them in any brand. I like changing out my shower gels and a mega size would just last too long!!

I like the philosophy shows too.  I always learn something new.

I actually sort of enjoy the shows. Especially when the reps start waxing about how using their soap makes you a nicer, kinder, more aware sort of person. Hilarious!

I like the TSV body wash and cream, but I don't wear the fragrance so it would just go in the trash eventually.

Why do they always have to include a huge bottle of frangrance with the TSV?

@gardensla. My point exactly. They include the giant fragrance to make the set 3 giant pieces so they can charge more. Some hosts will rationalize that you can break it up as gifts or stocking stuffers. I don't have a huge number of friends, but if I began gifting $60 items to friends, teachers (as they've suggested), or even my hairdresser, what gift money would be left for my family?

I agree....even though now there is the Beauty Channel it hasn't lessened any of the beauty shows on QVC or the beauty products TSV's on QVC these days....Beauty has overpowered most other programs these days....except of course Dyson, Mattresses, D&B, Computers..............

Beauty products are a big holiday seller, so it stand to reason the schedule would include many hours of this category, and that beauty products would find their way into general shows.

If I were clicking through channels I would be more likely to stick with QVC for a while to see a beauty product presented as opposed to Campanelli's long handled microfiber dusters.  I say this with all due respect to those fine dusters as I own a set of  and they are wonderful.  Would I appreciate receiving a set as a gift... NO.

Anything that takes time away from IT is OK by me.  And the reps are way more tolerable, though I would love to see Christina come back once in awhile.

Re: ENOUGH PHILOSOPHY

[ Edited ]

I like Phil and the shows too, but I dont like the mega sizes of anything. Take up too much room, like changing my selections out much more often.

"IT'S A SHOPPING CHANNEL!" They repeat shows because not everyone watches at the same time!!! Some vendors are contracted with QVC so they are obligated to be on a certain amount of times per month. They also show items over and over because they know eventually one will break down and BUY!
