Finally, a host who can keep quiet and let the expert speak and answer questions.
I received a lot more info (than when SK talked the presentations) about products I've recieved or were thinking about purchasing today.

I couldn't agree with you more. SK is so frenetic when hosting the rms show. Not only does she make me nervous, I think she does the same to Rose Marie! š²
Elise Ivy did a nice job today. Kudos to her.

@Shanus - I'm still unhappy with the way Shawn presented a foundation one night a while back with a brand new beauty vendor. It was not a long presentation to begin with, but the only shade she talked about was the one SHE was wearing. I posted at the time we should not have to do the research ourselves to figure out our shades! ![]()

I still enjoy Shawn. But, I have to say Elise is a class act. She knows her product and as you all have said she lets the guests speak and really sell their products. Qvc has a winner with Elise.

Almost all QVC's presenteres are good or at least okay, but I think Elise is among the best of all. She has good energy, is natural and conversational, and makes sure to include as much information as possible.

RMS is sold at the Blue Mercury near me, good for those who need to check the shades first

@Shanus, Are you able to give your op of RMS products ? I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to RMS. She has good ideas (in my humble op) of applying I personally LOVE your ideas. I try to always follow through with you. Many thanks

I like Shawn, but I find she takes far too long to get to shades when hosting Beauty shows, especially with New Beauty lines.....Please show the shades 1st and then talk about the product and the company's background, etc..........Elise is a class act, and gets to the pertinent information quickly!

This morning was watching Elise with her Beauty Show from 7-9 as I regularly do and then to see her doing the RMS show . Think Rose Marie Swift even enjoyed working with Elise,as I too remember the first time I watched the premier show I remember that host did most of the talking and the vendor was not able to explain her product as she did this morning
5 ***** to Elise 5 ***** to Rose Marie Swift, hope to see them together doing more show.
Elise is so professional and has become my favorite not just with makeup shows ,but with whatever she is presenting .

@sligo In general, I think RMS are good products. I'm using and will re-order all products I've purchased. I'm liking my brow powder and brush, haven't received the shadow quad w/ gloss I ordered yesterday. I've been using her day oil, but my skin is normal/dry, so not sure how it will do on oily skin. I have the 3 lip balms which are pretty colors, but they're not much different than drugstore Burt"s Bees colored balms. The luminizer is nice, too. I ordered a quad of 4 cream blushes from her site (haven't gotten those yet).
As a MUA, she's spot on with her points about cream products better for complexions of women my age or older complexions. I've used Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge (cream blush) for many years and NARS Orgasm blush in a stick (a cream) and find both are not as transparent and natural looking as RMS's blushes. I have not tried her "un-Cover" foundation because the shades are somewhat confusing. I do think the level of coverage (seeing Elise trying it on) may be too much coverage for me. I use a tinted moisturizer or serum foundation and then concealer where coverage is needed. Rose-Marie, IMHP, is correct about blush placement being not below the nose. I also measure 2 fingers away from the nose. I tap the Luminizer on top of the blush.
I see a bit of "rivalry" and similarity of product and philosophies between RMS and Jones Road by Bobbi Brown. The concept of true color, transparent, minimal makeup is quite the same. I think it's the way makeup will be trending for a natural look...less is more, not covering every spot or "flaw", accepting and accentuating your best features and let the others go.
Influencer makeup, again in my opinion, is way over the top. They're recommending and trying to sell product. Most wear full coverage foundations, many shades of shadow, some darker and not a good look for middle age to older women, but that's their platform and what keeps them on YouTube. There are are few over 50 compared to the many in their 20's and 30's. I find it difficult to relate.
I'm hoping RMS comes to stores so we can actually see and maybe swatch some products before purchasing them. Clean beauty is the way of future makeup.
Are there particular RMS products that you're interested in buying that I may be able to help with?
