@Shelbelle Just an FYI Clinique and Lancome make their products in China also
I dont use Clinique or Lancome. There are so many choices out there, makes it easy to avoid Made in China if you care to. .

I purchased a lot of e.l.f. products back when they were in the one-to-three dollar range. Got most of them when drugstore dot com was still operational (2011).
What I liked most about them was the price. If an item didn't work out, I could toss it. Thing is, I never tossed any of their products.
Why? Because the sizes were smaller, I could actually use up the products. I bought mostly eyeshadows and lip glosses and every color I purchased was flattering.
Picked up several brushes and tools, too.
Most recently I found eyeliners at Dollar Tree with sharpeners built into the cap. Kind of a cool feature.
Don't be afraid to try the products. ![]()

@I am still oxox - I currently don't have any Elf products, but I've heard so many beauty You Tubers rave about the quality of the Elf shadows.
Elf has gotten to be such a popular brand. I remember when years ago when they first appeared on the market.
After all this time, I never knew that Elf stood for eyes, lips, and face!

I have used some of their items. I find the lower price may be nice but the quality is below standard. I'd rather pay more and havee better products.

Ive been using ELF for 2-3 yrs. At first just just the eyebrow pencil. Now I use their facial creams also. They're affordable and use quality ingredients.

I adore ELF Glow Reviver Lip Oil
Im addicted to the large doe-foot applicator and the cushy formula. Great to use over dry lipsticks or alone for a very sheer casual look. They run $8-$9. Walmart, Target , CVS , Amazon and their own site and Im sure many other places.

I have used their Halo Liquid filter, the Halo blush beauty wand (the bronzer was not good for me), Inkwell colored eyeliner (hard to get off but lasts!) and the retractable eyeliner. Their grip primer might be the best around, imo. Anyway, all of the previously noted products are great (except the beauty wand bronzer which I found very muddy). I have not had much luck with any of their powder products, but liquid or creams seem to be pretty good for the price. Their brushes are good too, reasonably priced and cruelty free.

I just tried the ELF 'Glam' Foundation, after seeing rave reviews about it on youtube.
Well I purchased three different shades - one looked 'chalky' on my face, the next looked 'orange', and the third was not right either.
I'm fair and 'Warm Ivory' or 'Classic Ivory' is usually my go-to shade, with warm undertones.
This labeling of 'Warm', 'Cool', and 'Neutral' on foundation shades is fine, but confusing because every manufacturer has a different take on them.
I love Estee Lauder Lipsticks, but their Double Wear Foundation did nothing for my skin, even though the shade was perfect.
