Dumping Birchbox?

Birchbox has some really good stuff, travel sizes, high end brands, even a few full sized products in the mix. But its totally hit or miss. You will have one good box and then 4 cra*ppy boxes. I think they do it on purpose. Plus I dont know WHY it is so hard to let you choose your box configuration. They have 14 versions a month, why not just let you PICK the one you like?? Anyways I have read about a lot of other services, luxebox, glymm (US coming soon) this is one I am SUPER excited about. Now there is a new one called beauty army which lets you choose six samples per month, OR opt out for that month! In the promo I saw 100% pure products which I LOVE that brand. There are no other brands listed. Anyways, I am waiting to use my points up this month and then they are DONE. What other sampling programs are out there that look promising? I am interested in high end brands and generous sizes gwp/travel sizes........not perume, itty bitty vials, coasters, stationary, teas and other non beauty items.
