Charlie, Try Marula oil by acure organics. It is for very dry skin soaks right in. I have using all winter long without any dry skin at all. The problem with too many emollient moisturizers is they can cause Milia (I had that happen to me). My skin has never been dry except at times in the winter months but not this year with the oil. You can buy at iherb.com for a discount. I also use acure's day and night creams along with their eye cream. Sometimes I use their line eraser. Reasonble prices under $20. Good luck.

Try Josie Maran's Argan Milk. It is fabulous and alleviates dryness as soon as you put it on. My skin has never felt better and we are having a horrible winter in the Northeast. Good Luck.

I had all but given up on finding something to help with my dry skin in the winter. I LOVE Josie Maran's Argan Milk. It works wonderfully. I sometimes layer spf 30 moisturizer over it and my face stays soft and hydrated all day.

Charlie8, I would suggest that you take a look at Paula's Choice.com. I, too, have had dry skin my whole life. Always used department store product .... just about all of them it seemed. several years ago I ran across Paula's Choice and have personally had excellent results. She has increased and updated her formulas over the years, with many to choose from according to skin type. Her prices are very reasonable, too. I think it might be worthwhile to take a look. I hope you have great results with whatever you choose.
