I like using the Virtue healing oil or the Olaplex version.

@rms1954 Nutrafol worked really well for me. Thicker and better looking hair. When I washed and styled, I could tell how much better the hair that grew post-Nutrafol was, so Yes!!!! Worth the $$$$!

I am not sure about Olaplex myself. My hairsalon used some of it on me when they colored my hair and it was gorgeous, so I bought the shampoo when I ran out of what I was using, I don't do the whole system. I didn't ask the hair washer at the salon what product she used. She put it on me because I've been going there for a while and we are friendly, it was free so I didn't ask. I think they charge extra for that. The k18 I bought on my own before the olaplex but after the nutrafol. I have always used a leave in and I had bought one from Kenra and was underwhelmed. I used to use the Wen mask as a leave in, but when he disapperaed from QVC, his products went up in price significantly, and I didn't understand that, so I decided to try something else. I think k18 is pretty good and not as thick as the wen mask. And as I mentioned, I put coconut oil anytime my hair feels drab. I don't wash as often as others. I use a Kenra hairspray after I get a good style, I think the Kenra Volume Spray 25. It holds my hair more or less more than one day, and disappears if I add coconut oil, does not weigh my hair down, or thicken it. I know that experience may be different from others. My hair is super dry, with a little texture, no curls. It can hold a style if desired, using product. Hope this helps!

I would try a baby shampoo detangler and combing it from the bottom and work the way up in sections. But agree with the advice to get to the salon. The only solution to split ends, lilke split nails, is to cut the damage off.
