Does anyone use them between regular washings to freshen up your hair? Are you satisfied with any particular brand? Any other thoughts are welcome

Re: Dry Shampoos

Tweak'd Triple XL CLEANditioner has become my favorite for refreshing my hair between shampoos.   It's not a dry shampoo so no white powdery residue.   The reviews are not great because the pump can sometimes have issues so I put the product in a different misting bottle.  The product itself works great for me.

I have. I received one in a beauty subscription and it opened my eyes to the benefit. Not only using between shampooing but it adds texture and volume especially when my hair was flat from humidity. I believe that is why it has gained in popularity from 30 years ago when there was only one brand generally sold called Pssst, at least at the Wagreens I worked at.  LoL

The newer generations started using for styling aid. Hence why so many kinds sold at Walmart now for instance.

IGK First Class Charcoal Detox  dry shampoo.  I got this in a beauty subscription. Its more expensive than I can afford to repurchase ( around $18 to $35 , you may be able to find it cheaper)

Batiste Dry Shampoo  ( used when I was dyeing my hair, which was great as it kept my hair from looking chalky).

Walmart carries a variety of Batiste Dry Shampoo

Here is the original and other scents and there is more than this I believe

YES, I have tried them...and have found NO difference whatsoever between the before and after.

I use Batiste, my hair is short & it does a great job refreshing it.

Sometimes I just wash my hair in the sink if I don't have time or feel like a whole shower.  I remember my mother doing the same thing.

@gellen   I don't use it between shampoos to clean hair, but anywhere on my head I need some volume. I usually hold up a small parted area on the top of my head and spray Batiste there. I hold it up until it dries.

@gellen

I have used Philosophy Dry Shampoo for years.  Tried tons of other brands and this is the best.

DIL and DD use it also.

I have very dark-brown, nearly black hair. Every brand of dry shampoo leaves visible residue on my hair so I don't use it at all. Instead I use blotting paper, section off my hair and blot the oil off each part on my scalp. That helps keep the oil from getting on the hair itself which makes it go flat.
