My family has been a WEN family for a while now but recently started using Dessert Essence products. I really like the coconut shampoo conditioner and hair spray and hair lotion. I get it cheap on puritans pride website.

coconut oil hair treatments, and stop using sham-poo and heat styling if you do those things.

I apply coconut oil on my hair at night, section by section, takes about five minutes.

I was looking for something new to use, and tired of using a mix of several different brands. So I tried Paul Mitchell's line of Awapuhi Ginger, shampoo sulfate free.. with bubbles.

My hair was a little more dry than normal, and color treated with a bit more blonde hi-lights than usual, and this stuff is great for it....so far I have the poo, conditioning rinse, treatment. Styling products.. the mousse, sea salt spray, blow dry trmnt spray....I am missing the oil from the line..waiting for it to come in.

I read many reviews on this Awapuhi Ginger in the black containers...and many of them were on Amazon. You just have to be sure to buy it from a reputable seller.

I am very impressed, can't wait for the oil to come in !

My hair is also dry & brittle. My hairdresser asked if I was taking anything with carotene. She said this makes your hair strong & the stronger it gets the more brittle it gets. I had been taking vitamins for my hair. I cut back & it has seemed to help with the brittleness.

Drop the protein treatments if you are using them and apply lots of moisture.I like coconut oil,wen oils, and avocado oil..try not to use heat on your hair and protect it from the sun too.Frizzy brittle porous hair grows with abandon on my head and I have never found a cure.

Moroccanoil brand hair treatment, which is an argan oil product. Has worked miracles in cutting my frizz. My hairdresser introduced me to it. Pricey but doesn't take much and lasts a long time.

There's something called Nick Chavez Traditions Yucca Root shampoo and conditioner. That shampoo is specifically for hydration for dry hair. You might also want to try Nick Chavez Velvet Mesquite Serum. That's good for both the hair and skin. You can put it on dry or wet hair, and it makes the hair super soft without making it oily, greasy or weighing it down. It also says on the bottle that it's good for taming frizz and works on all hair types.

I used to have dry hair. No more. I use Tea Tree shampoo Paul Mitchel, Wen fig, Tea Tree and Pomegranite oils overnight. Beautiful, the Fig is super. I use a pump of Pomegranite CC after shampooing. Oils are the best and fastest way to go. Also, Andrew Lessman Healthy hair, skin and nails works great, too.
