Almay One Coat is what I prefer since I stopped using Estee Lauder More Than Mascara.  Tried so many drugstore brands these past couple of years and always go back to Almay.

Another vote for the Almay One Coat. Says "thickening" but it lengthens and curls, too. I was so pleasantly surprised on how well this inexpensive mascara performed on my stick-straight-awning-like lashes. It really takes only one coat but I like to put on two. Tapered brush makes it easy to apply. No flakes or clumps.

My favorite is Loreal Voluminous, the original formula, in black. I try others from time to time, but always come back to this one.

Another L'Oreal Voluminous vote here.  I've never head of anyone being disappointed in it.

I use the L'Oreal Voluminous Primer and it's just as good as the Lancôme Cils XL Booster Primer.

Will have to look at the L'Oreal mascara when I am in a drugstore.
